In Crisis & Seeking a friend?

The Big Papa Foundation started because 2 friends noticed that a lot of parents were suddenly and unexpectedly in crisis. There is no emergency number to call for people when your life seems to have gone off the proverbial rails. (Except the Suicide Prevention Lifeline 1-800-273-8255) That’s why we started this nonprofit. The aim was specifically to help people in crisis – especially parents.

When the tax laws changed, the mission evolved to aid a world in crisis. Originally, we had wanted all donations to be tax deductible for donors. Because this was not possible any longer, we instead urge donors to give funds to organizations that we trust that are responsible with donations. These organizations truly do aid our world in crisis. (Our favorites are the Human Rights Campaign and the ACLU.)

Fear not: We still remain available to assist Parents in Crisis. It may seem that we are focused on broader issues, like Voting and what is happening in the House of Representatives, however we are still available to help anyone who reaches out for assistance. We are almost instantly accessible at the Big Papa Foundation Facebook page or by private email to Casey@Bigpapa.org. The Foundation’s founders remain available to those in need who seek a friendly non judgmental ear and/or advice based on professional and parental experience. Everything discussed with Big Papa Foundation Staff is 100% confidential. Feel free to schedule an appointment for a private conversation as needed. We are here for you: Big Papa’s Gotcha. (We understand and are here for you in times of crisis.)

Founders of Big Papa Foundation: Julianne Kennedy & Casey Keith
